Location & access map Mirabel-aux-Baronnies Mirabel-aux-Baronnies privileged location on the southern border of the Drôme Provençale, its closeness to Nyons, the country of the olive and the lavender, and to Vaison la Romaine with its archaeological sites and summer festival have given this small village a unique liveliness. It is also an ideal base from which to explore the region. Nyons and Vaison 8 km away and the summit of Mont-Ventoux with its skiing facilities is half an hour drive away. There are numerous footpaths and sign posted cycling circuits, as well as golf courses. Most villages and towns offer weekly provençal markets and, in the summer, there are a number of festivals (Avignon, Orange, Carpentras, Vaison-la-Romaine…).
